James 1:23-24 The saying goes, “Action speaks louder than words.” Indeed, before that saying, we have the words of James: Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. What more needs to be said about this age old parable. One of the biggest criticisms of the Christian faith is that they simply don’t “walk the talk”, “practice what they preach” but simply a bunch of hypocrites. I am ashamed…
