My friend and I like to share interesting passages of Scripture which we find in our regular reading, and this morning he sent me two seemingly conflicting passages of Scripture which cause one to think about a very serious issue: does God cause man to sin? The Scriptures in question are: Again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”2 Samuel 24:1 Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.1 Chronicles 21:1
One of the things that struck me last night when I returned home was that I had a wardrobe. I looked around for the suitcase that I had lived out of for the last 5 weeks and I had already unpacked and put everything away (I’m efficient, what can I say?). Tonight, I was at a presentation of the alleged discovery of Noah’s Ark.
